Gabriel Yuri is a photographer with a background in design. Yuri's creative journey has been an exchange between both shaping & capturing the built environment as well as the bodies which occupy those spaces. Yuri is interested in exploring the interplay of form, "function", and a notion of "queer space".

Ultimately, Yuri's photography seeks to ignite a conversation about the ways our bodies are not just passive​ but rather active participants in architectural narratives. Yuri's artistic vision revolves around the concept of "embodied architecture," an exploration of how our physical selves interact, coexist, and harmonize with the constructed environments around us and vis-versa.

Currently residing and working between New York and Los Angeles, Yuri is an avid traveler who continues to push the boundaries of photographic expression, portraying the interconnectedness between bodies and architecture, blurring the lines that separate us from our constructs.
